Example:The man appeared to be eating a cheese burger for breakfast.
2.) Approached- Something that is close or be near by.
Example: The king and his soldiers approached our village from the west.
3.) Curious- To take interest or pay close attention.
Example: The curious child took interest in the trapeze artist's performance.
4.) Climbed- to travel upward by walking, jumping, or pulling your body upward with your hands and feet.
Example: I climbed up the hill, so that I can sled down the hill.
5.)Exercises- To practice an action or put something into motion.
Example: All athletes need to exercise during the off season, so that they can physically prepare themselves for the next game.
6.) Field- A piece of open land covered by tall grass.
Example: There is nothing
7.) Hill- A piece of land that has naturally risen above flat land.
Example: Once you make your way through the woods, climb up the hill and run in a circle.
8.) Space- An area or place that is outlined.
Example: No one in my family realizes that my bedroom is my personal space.
9.) Tiny- Something that is small or hard to see.
Example: I could hardly see the tiny red house on the other side of the field.
10.) Uneasy- Feeling concerned, scared, or worried to the point where someone is restless.
Example: I had an uneasy feeling knowing that my brother did not lock the front door.
Using one of these words make a vocabulary word web. With a partner, write down a vocabulary word and place it in the center of your paper. Using bubbles that branch off of the vocabulary word, come up with as many different definitions for that word as possible. You can use any type of definition including slang.
